Jimmy Griswold

Jimmy Griswold captures the style of the artist in any type of music he attacks, from the warm tones of T-bone Walker & B.B. King to the screaming sounds of Roy Buchanan, Jeff Beck and SRV all mixed with Jimmy’s highly original style.

Jimmy projects unparalleled energy and feeling into his guitar playing. He has toured Germany with the late great Rock Bottom and has opened for Dave Mason, Ronnie Earle, Matt ”Guitar” Murphy, George Thorogood, NRBQ and many other’s.

Since relocating to the Tampa Bay area from Connecticut Jimmy has played the 2005 Tampa Bay and Sarasota blues festivals opening for Jimmie Vaughn, Robert Cray, Coco Montoya, Delbert Mclinton and many others. Has three critically acclaimed CD’s to his credit and is also looking forward to his third tour of the U.K. in Sept/Oct 2006 where all past reviews have been stellar.
